1. Who we are
GymIQ (gymiq.org) ranks gymnastics gyms using published meet scores and gives awards based on those rankings. "We" and "us" mean GymIQ. "You" means the person creating the account and the gym you act for.
2. Rankings are never for sale
Rankings and awards come only from published meet scores. Every gym is ranked for free, whether or not it has an account or buys anything. Nothing you do on GymIQ, including claiming a page or buying an award kit, changes a gym's rank, score or awards.
3. Your account
- You must be at least 18 and able to agree to these terms for yourself and for your gym.
- Give accurate information and keep your password private. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
- Tell us at hello@gymiq.org if you think someone else has used your account.
4. Claiming a gym's page
- Only claim a gym you own or are authorized to manage. We may ask you to confirm this, and we may approve, refuse or remove a claim.
- A claimed gym can update its name, address, phone number, public email and photos. Keep them accurate and don't use them to mislead parents or to impersonate another gym.
- We may edit or remove anything that breaks these terms, and we may correct details we know to be wrong.
5. Photos and other content you upload
- You must have the rights. Only upload photos and other content that you own or have permission to use. You confirm that you have the permission needed from every identifiable person shown, and, for anyone under 18, from a parent or guardian, for the photo to be published on GymIQ and used as described below.
- No athletes' names or personal details. Don't include athletes' names, schools, addresses or other personal details in photos or text.
- Permission you give GymIQ. You keep ownership of your content. You give GymIQ a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable and sublicensable license to host, store, copy, display, publish, resize, crop, format and distribute it on GymIQ and in GymIQ's own promotion of the gym and of GymIQ (for example, on social media, in emails and in awards materials), for as long as it remains on GymIQ and, for promotion already published, after that.
- Checks and removal. We check uploaded photos automatically, and some are reviewed by a person before they are shown. We may decline or remove any content, without notice, including content we believe lacks the needed permissions. You can remove your photos at any time from your account; copies may remain in backups for a limited time.
- If someone tells us a photo shows them or their child without permission, we will remove it.
6. Award kits
- An award kit releases all of the gym's awards on its GymIQ page and includes its award badges and media kit for the award sets listed at checkout, including the 2026-27 mid-season awards when they are published.
- Award kits are paid in advance through our payment provider, Stripe. We don't see or store your card details.
- You may use the badges and media kit to promote your gym's GymIQ awards. Don't change what an award says or present an award your gym did not receive.
- If something is wrong with a purchase, contact hello@gymiq.org.
7. Acceptable use
Don't misuse GymIQ: no unlawful, harmful or offensive content, no attempts to access other accounts or to break or overload the site, and no automated scraping of the site without our permission.
8. Ending your account
You can stop using GymIQ at any time and ask us to close your account. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms. Gyms stay ranked after an account closes, because rankings come from public meet scores.
9. No warranty; limits on liability
GymIQ is provided "as is". Rankings reflect the meet scores available to us and may contain errors. To the extent the law allows, GymIQ is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change matters, we'll tell account holders by email or on the site before it takes effect. Continuing to use your account after that means you accept the new terms.
